Cynthia has been drawing and painting all her life. Growing up in a family that lived and traveled all over the country and the world, she couldn't help but finally return to the Shenandoah Valley. She finds inspiration in the landscape around her home on Blue Ridge Mountain: the changing colors, the light, the sky, and the river.

She studied Art at Virginia Commonwealth University and East Carolina University, and paints in oils, watercolors, and gouache on wood panels, canvas, and paper.
